Governing Board Members
The school is looking to recruit one or more new members to join the Board of Governors. This is an opportunity for a person with appropriate skills to make a significant contribution to the ongoing development of the school in the coming years. As this is a charitable organisation, members of the Board serve both as Trustees of the Charity and de facto Directors of Wellington School Ayr (Ltd). Membership of the Board is a significant commitment, but it provides a very rewarding way in which high calibre individuals can be part of a team that works closely with the Head and senior management to provide support and strategic direction to the school.
Anybody wishing to be considered for invitation to the Board should complete the school’s standard Job Application Form and provide a covering letter explaining the basis of their interest and outlining the specific skills that they can contribute.
