As a parent to a pupil at Wellington, you are an integral part of our community.
By offering an array of opportunities for you to take part and get involved, we hope that you will be encouraged to take an active role in your child’s education and the life of the school.
Every parent is welcome to attend events, sports fixtures and Open Days.
Wellington School Association
Every parent is a member of the Wellington School Association, which supports the school by fundraising for school equipment and facilities.
(recent purchases have included a laser cutter and a school bus)
Parents receive regular communications from the school: termly round-up and more frequent update emails from the Head, The Turret, The Annual Report and The Junior School Newsletter.
Have Lunch With Us
You are welcome to have lunch with us any day of the week in Craigweil Dining Hall. Please simply advise as to when you plan to join us.
Progress & Attainment
Staff are always at your disposal to discuss your child’s progress or attainment.
Parents are welcome to attend drop-in sessions and open classroom events, especially between P1-P7. This allows you to look at jotters and meet with the class teacher.
Parental Focus Groups
Parents will be notified of Parental Focus Group meetings in the Senior School. Meanwhile, in the Junior School, please contact Mr Cox to find out more about the frequent Junior and Nursery Focus Group sessions.
