In Music pupils have the opportunity to express themselves and to build their confidence. All classes are performance based and instrumental work and singing form the core activity. Through their music pupils are also encouraged to listen and create their own compositions.
Pupils can build on their previous experiences in the Junior School and through group work and the many musical activities are able to participate in our numerous performances.

In the S1/S2 course pupils study various elements. These include playing instruments, using technology to invent, record and notate their compositions, and project work relating to Musicals and the music of today. Singing forms an important part of their experience and many of them enjoy participating in our choirs.
