The first year maths course aims to further develop pupil skills in number shape and information handling. The main resource is the Maths in Action textbook but throughout we also do individual and group tasks aimed at developing skills in problem solving and investigation.

Homework and Assessments are built into the course and are given throughout the year. Pupils will sit a more formal examination in the Summer Term.
