Remove
In Remove there is a natural progression from the work covered in Primary 6.    Emphasis is placed on the development of speaking and listening skills. Constant practice in these areas is provided through the use of taped materials, videos, role-play, games and songs. Pupils will have access to our digital language laboratory.

Reading and writing skills are developed and pupils are introduced to grammar and language structure. This allows them to use their French more flexibly.

We use Expo pour l'Ecosse, an attractive new course.

Pupils who are new to the school will be given special help if they have not studied French at their previous school.

Senior 1
Pupils in Senior 1 follow the Expo pour l'Ecosse course.    This is a bright and attractive course which develops speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.    Each pupil also has an individual workbook for homework.

Each class spends one hour a week in the Language Laboratory where pupils improve their listening and speaking skills.

Pupils who are new to the school follow an accelerated course to ensure rapid progress.
