JOYEUX NOËL À NOS AMIS FRANÇAIS (08/12/2009)
Wellington pupils prepared Christmas cards for their penpals in France as part of their work in the e-twinning project.

S1 pupils have started an exciting e-twinning project with the Collège Le Cleu Saint-Joseph in Redon, Brittany. Last month the girls and boys in the French classes sent their first letters to the French school and this week their Christmas cards are on their way. The pupils are looking forward to receiving New Year\'s greetings from France at the beginning of 2010.

This e-twinning project is one of the many international events taking place in school. Wellington School is applying for an International School Award in 2010. This prestigious award is made to schools who prove a commitment to internationalism. Our S1 classes are exchanging information with pupils in Brittany on lifestyles and culture.

The Collège Le Cleu Saint-Joseph is a member of the UCAPE group of schools.
