Wellington has a unified Junior School, including all years from Nursery Reception through to Primary 6.

The Junior School is housed in Drumley House, which is a bright and well-resourced building for two classes at each stage.  The wall display is vibrant and the atmosphere is caring and stimulating.  There is specialist teaching at every stage, and all pupils are encouraged to play a musical instrument, or join a club or a sports team. 

Pupils often make visits outside school, which range from an afternoon on the Low Green to a week away at an outward bound centre.  Children work hard in classrooms as well, with programmes of work under constant review, to ensure that the needs of each individual are met.
