If
you are interested in your child entering the school you
must register your interest with us by completing the
school's own "Registration for Admission".
Please note that there is nothing contractually binding for
either party at this stage of the application. By completing
this form you will enable us to keep in touch with you regarding
your application and your interest in the school.
Registration forms are obtainable from the school's
Admissions Secretary, Mrs Marian Dunlop.
Entry to the school is by interview with the Head and
through providing a copy of your child's most recent
school report.
Additionally, applicants for Primary 7 and Senior 1 will
be required to sit entrance examination papers in English
and Mathematics.
Entrance tests usually take place at the beginning of February.
Children entering the school at Primary level will
be invited to spend the morning in school with the appropriate
stage class. The main points of entry to the school are at
Nursery, Primary 1, Primary 7, and Senior 1. However, pupils may enter any stage at any point of the year depending on the availability of places.
Once a place has been offered by the Head, parents are asked
to complete the 'Enrolment Agreement and
Parental Consent Form' if they wish to accept the place.
This is then contractually binding and requires parents
to give one term's written notification of termination.
